LINX Appoints New Managing Director

Linx Printing Technologies appointed Jose Gomez as managing director following the retirement of Nigel Hood.

Gomez joins the St Ives, Cambridgeshire-based company after 17 years with fellow Danaher business Videojet, where he held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently he served as VP and GM of Videojet Latin America.

 “At Linx we play a critical role in helping our customers improve their productivity and I am very excited about the breakthrough IoT solution ‘Printernet’ we will be launching soon,” he said.

“With Jose’s extensive experience at Videojet, and his track record of building and developing highly effective teams, I am very confident that he will continue the strong leadership that drives Linx’s success,” added Joakim Weidemanis, Danaher’s EVPt, Production Identification and Water Quality Platforms.
